The Westside office of a Los Angeles-based, international law firm is seeking a skilled health care associate. A qualified candidate for this mid-level opportunity will have at least 3 years of full-on experience handling provider licensing, HIPPA and other regulatory matters, as well as negotiating and supporting M&A, financing, joint venture and operational & service agreements for HMOs and other medical care providers. This is an exciting position in which you’ll have great deal of client face-time, and play an active role in helping structure, shape or help reinvent medical entities that will have the facilities, information systems, and patient service standards of a 21st century facility. Strong law school and professional credentials are required, as well as the ability to work well with a variety of people. The compensation is healthy too.
