Post: Restoring 2nd Amendment rights after DV

Posted by First Timer on 9/25/08

I was charged with Felony Harassment DV for making a death
threat. I ended up pleaing to Misdemeanor Harassment DV
with a deferred prosecution. I have probation for 24
months with DV classes. I'm nearing the end of my
probation and will have completed all the classes, I've
stayed compliant the entire time and have not had any
other legal issues. Also, the DV charge was my first
    leagl issue ever.

Now, I want my 2nd Amendment rights back. Does the
deferment mean that I get my rights back when I've
successfully completed all of the terms or do I have to
    take further steps?

    Thank you, pleas advise.
