Post: Getting friend out of the house

I do not know what township that you are in in suffolk
county. I called up ther to the East Hampton police
department to find out about the eviction laws in your
state. I was advised by that department that if there is
no signed lease agreement you may just kick this person out.
Therefore all you need to do is go to the police department
and explain to them your situation go to the chief if you
have to. Tell them you want him gone. They will take
action and if he returns he will be subject to arrest for
tresspassing in the least but continued harrassment after
this point could lead to much more serious charges for him.

There is simply no need to pay an attorney to do the job of
paid public service officals. That is what they are there
    for.

Being that this person is your friend you may not have
actually wanted him arrested and therefore did not voice
    you complaint strong enough.
