Post: rental home owner jailed for mortgage fraud

I rent a property, the home owner has just plead guilty to
mortgage fraud and is facing 5 years in jail, I don't even
know that he has a current mortgage and isn't in default
with this house. What can I do or what should I expect
when he does go to jail?
