Post: FIRST TIME OFFENDER Tryin to get an apartment

I am a first time offender and under the first time
offenders program; I am applying for a apartment and it says
that those convicted of a felony will be automatically
rejected. My question is when they do the background check,
will my records come up as a convict or will it say some
thing different. But my overall question is will i be able
to get the apartment
