Post: sexual abuse

I was molested by my Mother's live in boyfriend from age
13 to 14 while we all shared a house. I have only recently
gotten into therapy to try and deal with this issue as I
have never told anyone. My Mom and I started to have real
problems after that and I really changed.

I went from being a straight a student,cheerleader,student
counsel,etc. to a high school dropout. I know it has been
along time. I just turned 37 this month. I am just
wondering if there is anything I can still do regarding
the statue of limitations. He destroyed my hopes and
dreams and my self esteem. There was also a witness to
these acts. It can be proven I think.

He is a prominent business man in our community and I
would like people to know what he is really capable of. He
took my life away in my eyes. Is there anyone out there
that can give me some advice? Thank You.
