Post: statue of limitation on filing a theft charge

My daughter has a friend that stole from her parents 4 years
ago and every day they threaten her that they are going to
turn her in if she doesn't do what they say. She is now 29
and wants to know what they can do to her?
She lives in the state of Iowa.
