Post: Choosing not to return to work?

Posted by KS on 6/10/11
OK, so I have been on workmans comp for 2 years for carpal tunnel. I have been home for those two years since my employer could not comply with the modifications requested by my dr. Now my employer says they can work with the modifications, but I have decided to stay home and raise kids. If I choose not to return, how does it affect my wrkmans comp case? Will I still get a settlement? I know I wont receive lost wages monthly anymore, but Im talking about my final settlement to pay the lawyer and medical bills....
