    Dr. David

thanks for the info. I will consider that. In 2006 I had applied
to Liberty School of Law, Charlotte School of Law and Phoenix
School of Law (I believe that the latter two are of the same
group as Florida A & M) however the financial aid would have
been quite substantial loans and with family obligations since I
am a non-traditional student in my early 50's it would be rather
traumatic to root up now and move to these locations for 3 or 4
years so I investigated DL Law Schools for CA. I had meet the
Past President of the CA Bar Association who was retired and
discussed a strategy with him. Also I discussed my situation
with the Dean of Wake Forest SOL who told me that CA Bar exam is
one of the most difficult and that he had a friend who had
failed it 4 times but that I would be able to do it since I "...
was smart." And since we want to move to Southern CA in 5 years
or so then CA DL Law Schools seem to be a good low cost
alternative. Currently I attend a local college paralegal
program and volunteer with Legal Aid of NC.

    regards,
    John Mar
