Yep. paying the fine or restitution is part of probation. If you
don't do it, you've violated the agreement that the judge won't
send you to jail if you do certain things. Having said that,
most POs and judges won't impose a sentence for paying late but
may impose some sort of sanction like community service etc. my
advise, pay it on time or go back to the judge and give a real
good reason why you can't, like you're paralyzed and can't work.
most other excuses won't fly.
