I am pending a hearing concerning an arrest in December
2003. I was orginally arrested for resisting arrest. In
November 2004 5 days before my secheduled trial the charge
of resisting arrest was dismissed, and it its place a new
charge of Interferrence with public duties was filed. I
have just two questions. Is interferrence a with public
duties a charge that is legit. I am being charged with
interferring with my own arrest. I did not interfere with
the arrest of another.

Secondly, I have only been to an Initial Appearence. I
have been placed on the call docket, but it was always
continued prior to my case being called. I was scheduled
for a trial on the charge, in May, but the judge had a
family emergency. Is there a speedy trial issue here?
