Post: How do I cancelling a Order of Protection in Texas?

    Posted by xxx on 9/20/06

I'm turning 17 in Febuary and last year my mother had a
protection order placed on my boyfriend because she doesn't
like him. I know that sound absured but it's true. He signed
it because the attorney waved legal fees but now I want it
removed. I know i'm considered an adult by the Texas Legal
System once I turn 17 but i've been trying to find
information about the cancelation of the protection order
and can't seem to find any. I'm also moving out once i turn
17 so i'm looking for information for that too. My mother is
pretty physco, we've been to family therapy and she put me
into person therapy and both therapist agreed that she needs
to seek indiviual therapy, not me, but she thinks otherwise.
    Please help!
