If it is a non-criminal traffic ticket, I doubt you have a
legal obligation to disclose it. I can only advise you
consult with a DUI attorney in your jurisdiction. It will
be a couple of hundred dollars well spent.
DUI is a serious criminal offence. You are indeed lucky.
Imagine if you had hit another car and killed someone. Not
only would the guilt I know you would feel be unbearable,
you could be convicted of a crime punishable by as much as a
20 years in jail.
