My husband is out of work and disabled. He is not
collecting disability at this time, but a claim will be
filed soon. I had to have major surgery and am on
disabiilty for 6 wks. (small change!) We have a lot of
credit card debt.
Husband has rolled over his retirement plan, but took
$11,000 for us to live on for a while; we paid off a $3000
loan, bought a more reliable car for $1000, and paid off
one credit card for $1000.
Question: If we file for bankruptcy now (NY), will it look
bad that we took that $11,000 or will it be acceptable
given what we used it for and that we have such a small
income right now???
