Unless you have a written agreement spelling out the amount of hours to be worked your employer is free to change the schedule absent your consent. The reality is that "most" employers dont play fair - notwithstanding the smiley faces and secret santa gifts. Presumably you are an at-will employee so you may cut the hours to an ultimate low (zero) when you find another job. Best of luck to you.
