Posted by Chase on 5/02/07 After 18 years with the company I have been placed on "seasonal layoff".I am in sales and collections. The 22nd of January a customer informed me a Teritory Sales Manager had borrowed a large sum of money from him and was not paying him back. We are a Sarbanes- Oxley regulated company.This is a violation of our code of ethics and conduct. I reported this to our store manager as required.He acted mad at me. He stated the customer would need to tell him. This was done. Three week later I'm placed on seasonal layoff, of course I am the only person at the store being layed off. A new employee has already been hired "part time for now" The manager is stating this will most likely become a permanent layoff, because sales have not increased. What do I do now? Lost in Indiana
