Can a company (I am in the trucking business) withhold my
paycheck for damages that were caused to a shippers
building (a cable was downed).To make matters
interesting... the dock workers knew that the cable was
really low & they still guided me in the dock. They even
got on a tow motor to raise the low cable, when they were
asked about that.. all of a sudden their story changed. I
have insurance, now they are telling me that "my insurance
was not the right kind" When I signed the lease agreement,
they never checked out to make sure that I had the right
insurance. I think they are trying to give me the run
around. Any insight would be appreciated!
