Post: California Mileage Reimbursement

I am required by my employer to use my personal vehicle to
drive to various client worksites - sometimes several in a
day - to perform my job. Is my employer required to
reimbursement me for those miles? Is there a standard rate,
or can he impose some arbitrary scheme, such as, '... your
vehicle gets xxx mpg and gas is $xxx/gal..."
