If your gut instinct says run, RUN. I once hired a lawyer I
was uncomfortable with, (he "seemed" the best option I had at
the time), who also had religious symbolism all over his
office, and he turned out to be a drunken, embezzling forger
who did major damage to several client's cases, including
mine. Our state bar is covering for him. Religious stuff is
a red flag to me...not only because of this incident but
because in my area it's used by some of the worst lawyers,
contractors, doctors, etc, to dupe people into trusting
them. Like I say, if you're uncomfortable with this lawyer,
run, don't hire him/her and regret it.
