Is there a statute of limitations on SSI fraud? A friend
is being reviewed by SSI and they are requesting a copy of
their divorce from 4 years ago. In the divorce the judge
states that he thinks the individual is not as disabled or
financially bad off as they claim. Will this be enough to
cause SSI to investigate? Do the have a certain time
frame in which they have to investigate or can they go as
far back as when he first got SSI? Thanks, Sue
