    Post: surrogates court

Posted by Sandy Stevens on 9/10/06

    1997 death of my dad
Everyone signed releases to the estate
2002....one sibling brought an action in surrogates court
    on the will be fraudelent.
I had the same lawyer as my brother. She was stating she
represent me and then later said she was the corporate
lawyer. I have evidence to prove that.
Well, everyone was boughten out except my brother and I.
little did I know the lawyer did not speak on my behalf to
have all the shares spilt down the middle so the original
will shares stayed in place leaving me the minority
shareholder. I have been dubt. Finding out later this
lawyer was good friends with my brother.
Now,Surrogates Court said the estate is closed. I have
recieved nothing from my dads estate.
there is no accounting in the records as to what i recieved.
    this is a nightmare.
The original lawyer who filed the will is now disbarred. He
has signed my name to release the estate. I have called
writing experts and they need signatures from 1998 to
review my signature. I don't have them.
I had file paperwork with surrogates court to have an
accounting of the estate and then hire a lawyer and he told
the courts that he dismisses this because I did sign off to
    the estate in 1998.
Ihave nothing..I would of been better off in 2002 not to go
and the Surrogates Court would of distribute the shares
    equally.
so, I am trying to fight for my interests in my fathers
estate and I think i should refile the accounting of the
estate paperwork for starters and do this on my own because
every lawyer I get has screwed up.
    Thanks
