He's blowin' smoke. Dn't listen to his flush material.
He has no rights whatsoever to YOUR child until court says
he does. And, that can't happen until your child is born.
And, only after your child is born can he petition the court
to be declared your child's father. He will not take your
child away from you; but, if the court finds him to be
biodad, he will get some type of visitation
supervised/unsupervised) unless the court finds it is not in
the child's best interest. Should that happen, he will then
be subject to a child support order; he must support his
child if the court determines he's biodad.
Relax. Quit worrying. And, so what, if he has a lawyer.
Many threatening alleged daddies do -- and it goes nowhere.
p.s. He sounds like a control freak.
