Long story short... Husband has physical custody of 15yr
son. Stated in court order he has the final decision
making over the child. Child has wanted to live with
mother for the past 4 yrs. Husband will only permit that
if mother does it through the court system so he can still
be a part of sons life. Son leaves a note referencing
suicide. Son is taken to mental establishment were he can
receive treatment. Son decides he doesn't want to come
back home with father and if made to he will kill himself.
Son was release to fathers grandmother. Grandmother can
not tend to the child and is too old. Father has to find
other alternative. Child is now doing what ever he pleases
including laying out of school.Father is still legally
responsible for childs actions. Do any of you have any
advice as to what can be done legally? Like possibly
through the juvenile system. Bio Mom is in and out of
jail, no job....so that is not an option...Small family no
one else to take on the burden. Thanks in advance.... we
live in Georgia
