Post: Back Child Support

My father was in the military when the papers for child
support were written up and soon after he was dismissed.
His is knee deep in back child support due to it being
written under a MUCH higher pay. He is unable to go to the
state to get it changed due to the money owed or he will
be arrested. As one of his two children that support was
owed for, am i able to forgive him for the owed money?
