I got ordered the owed amount in my court date and ended up
getn more tacked on as well. the reason being is the courts
go back to the time of seperation not the court date
proceedings. this really pisses you off i know but i lucked
out and was giving money to my sons mother before court in
money order forms and kept all the receipts. i just took em
in to o.r.s and the deducted the amounts after. if this is
not the case for you id sit back and figure out the monthly
payments you have now and add it up from time of seperation.
should be in your papers when you both mutually agreed on a
month ect. of seperation. dunno if it helped but attorneys
wont help in the matter if courts already done. its a s.o.l
deal for the non custodial parent. and if wage garnishments
start to happen just makes it worse cuz they take it from
state unemployment or any earned income once they find you.
