Post: HIB Aliens getting 1099 instead of W2

    Hi
    I am working for my HIB petitioning employer. I have been
    given a 1099 by my employer. Is it right or I should ask
    them for a W-2? No taxes have been paid on my behalf by the
    employer in 2008.
