My relative is here on a B2 visa. His mother is ill. I
filed petiotion for his legal custody and successfully
enrolled him at public school (7th grade) and pay no
tuition. I am worried about his legal status still. Can he
get a F1? Does that mean that he has to pay tuition (on a
F1)? If he is out of status, can I still adopt him in two
years after he meets the 2 year physical custoday and
financial support requirments? Will I get into trouble if I
kept him here knowing he is out of status? Thanks for the
advise.
