I have a stamped h4 which is valid until 2013. Last October
(2009) I started to work for an employer that did my H1
(part time). I have that H1 approval but it is not stamped.
In June (2010) the same employer converted me to a full
time and has filed an amendment to the part time H1. The
amendment petition is still under process. I know I need to
get H1 stamped. Can I use the part time approval for the
stamping or do I need the new amendment approval? I am
leaving for India in 3 weeks. If the new one is required
then I will have to go in for PP.
