Post: New Job Search Tool For Law Students - resumelaunchpad.com

Hi Counsel.net,
I am a recent grad from Cardozo law in New York and I
wanted to inform you of my new job- search site,
http://www.resumelaunchpad.com, for law students. The site
makes it much easier to send your resumé and cover letter
to law firms. Rather than researching and emailing each
firm one-by-one, Resumé Launchpad makes it easy to apply to
many firms at once.
Here's how it works: Resumé Launchpad has a database of
25,000 legal employers, organized by size, practice area
and geographic location. First you select the firms that
you want to apply to. Then, you write your cover letter but
leave the firm's name and recipient's name blank. The
website will automatically insert the correct information
into your cover letter, similar to a mail-merge. Then,
upload your resumé and click send; your job application
will be emailed to all of the selected law firms and the
emails appear to come directly from your own email address.
You can also customize individual cover letters and track
everything you send.
Resumé Launchpad can save you days of time. Here are what
other law students have said: * "This is truly amazing.
Exactly what I've been looking for in my job search." *
"Your site is absolutely awesome. ... This kind of thing
was sorely needed." * "Just wanted to say what a brilliant
idea for a site and it's really such a great tool for every
law student."
I put a lot of work into the site and I would love to hear
what you think.
