Post: Conveyancing differences
Posted by Rebecca Harper on 5/30/17
Hello again! I’m taking part in an exchange programme in Europe next summer, and I’ll be working alongside European law students (Paris, yay!) on a few different areas of law. As we’re working on a conveyancing project at the moment, it was suggested by a law professor that everyone should get to grips with the main differences between conveyancing law in the UK and Europe. From what I understand, it’s quite different because some European countries have one independent conveyancer or judge, rather than the buyer and the seller instructing their own. Does anyone have any insight or experience with this? Thanks!
