I had a car thru Tran South Finance.I have had some
problems with my job and have recently moved to Florida.I
was late on my June payment.I had made my June payment on
the 29th of July.My July payment was due on the 22nd.On the
30th of July they came and repossessed my Jeep.They said
since I moved to Florida they thought their vehicle was in
jeopardy,and they thought I didn't have insurance.I have
told them for the past two months I had insurance.They said
they had called my insurance company and they hadn't called
them back,so they take that as I don't have insurance.Well
I did have insurance.I told them they can't take my car if
they "think" I don't have insurance.They said in their
documents it says they can,but it doesn't say that in
mine.It says they can get insurance for me and charge me
for it but not take it.Can anyone tell me what my rights
are considering I was only 8 days late so far on my July
payment and I had insurance.
