Post: Nerve damage post wisdom teeth extraction

Posted by Professional concerned Mom on 3/03/10
My son suffered nerve damage following 2 lower wisdom teeth removal. He's experiencing parasthaesia and loss of taste. He's been advised to see a surgeon for nerve repair sugery, possibly involving a nerve graft from a leg. He's a Type 1 diabetic. How unusual is this complication and should he consider legal counsel? He's 28 years old.
