When you say 'a pending dui', had you been charged? Ticketed?
Was there a failure to appear? Your Law School has to have an
appeals/hearings procedure available. I would advise you to
retain counsel (somebody who has handled discipline cases before
the Board of Law Examiners or the Supreme Court of your state)to
represent you in this matter. But the bottom line: follow the
advice of your counsel, and it will probably include an
admission of fault from you. However: do not go 'naked' to any
such hearing; that would send the wrong signal to your law
    school. Good luck to you!
