Post: Speeding tickets with a provisional license

Posted by Joe Blainey on 5/22/06

I'm concerned with a speeding ticket I have just been
issued. Not 10 days ago I received one where the officer
marked me for 10 miles over the speed limit in a 25mph zone,
and this new one is for 18 miles over the limit in a 25mph
zone. When I was telling a friend, they seem to believe that
if someone has not gone to court for the first violation,
and then receive a ticket during this period then it will
lead to an automatic suspension of the license. If you could
get back to me about what is going to happen, I'd greatly
    appreciate it, thank you.
