Post: Don't want to get taken

I was hit 7 months ago while sitting at a stop sign. The
other persons insurance company agreed their client was at
fault. They paid for all the body work on my car. Now I'm
trying to settle my doctor fees and personal injury. My
attorney wants to settle even though the insurance company
hasn't met his estimate yet. I am still having pain from
the accident and my car stopped working a couple of weeks
after I got it back from the body shop. I want to go to
court and my lawyer sent me a letter requesting I get a
2nd opinion form another laywer. Can my Lawyer refuse to
take the insurance company to court?
