HI! First time on and we need help/advice! We moved to a
nice quiet community in Southern/CA and found that after
we moved in this one neighbor/couple kept harrassing us.
With further asking of other neighbors, found they have
tried to sue most of the neighbors in the area. The
neighbors told us -"they think they own everything because
they moved here first." Well next we know we are paying a
top notch Lawyer from OC for almost 4 years fighting for
our property. The law has already told them they are wrong
and they persist to now federal court. They threatened to
our lawyer today at depositions that they were going to
fight us forever and keep sueing us until we are broke.
We have almost spent 50k already the past years and now
our lawyer tells us they are possibly mentally sick people
and won't stop. The other neighbors say they have all been
sued by them(tried to). They are always trying to get
money. I couldn't believe no one has stopped them. Our
lawyer also told us they are very low IQ. The law has
told them they cannot claim our property it is ours,
fenced off. It is ours! Well in short - the question is
how do you stop one home or couple from destoying the
neighbors. Trying to get them to move out of stress, fear
and disappointment. We have spent over 400k plus on
building our little nest egg to be our future retirement
and now we are spending kitchen remodel money on this case
and more on this harrassement , besides the stress and
health issues. I am not educated on laws that cover this
avenue. How can we stop them from sueing everyone when
they get a crazy jealous whim? They have hurt 4 of our
neighbors and now us. The epitimy is a friend/neighbor
dieing of cancer in one month on his death bed makes my
husband promise to protect his wife and their home from
the neibor behind them. (Right before he dies)And these
are greatneighbors, really good people. I have had enough
of this crap. How can these people hurt all these people
and get away with it! I am sorry this is so long, I have
never looked for advice in a manner such as this. But it
is time almost 4 years of there threats, stress, no sleep,
fear and constant finacial loss. We are an educated and
resilent couple trying to have a family but in example of
the last years of this stress it will stop our children
plans by stress the doctors say.

Any ideas, suggestions, referrals to info.? Anything
would be better than just paying and fighting. Because
they will go after the next person who fixes up their
property to have a nice home.
