Post: My roommate is throwing some of my mail away

I have found some of my mail in the trash of late. I
confronted one of my roommates of this and he told me that
he thought it was junk. Recently, I found some of my mail
in the trash again, but I have not confronted him about
this because he is back home in Canada (both roommates are
students). I found magazines, research journals and stock
information from my financial rep in the trash. I have a
feeling that this has gone on for quite sometime and I am
missing several research journals and some correspondents
from my undergraduate alumni association that is
important. I was wondering is throwing away mail is
tampering and if it happens again what I could do to get
him to stop, besides moving out.
