Post: Opening mail not belonging to you

Posted by Tammy on 2/19/06
I am wondering, my son who turned 18 last June, moved out of his father's house. However, his father has not once, but twice, opened his mail, specifically mail from my son's bank. The bank account is in my son's name only. His father did not have my son's permission to open the mail. After he opened the mail he had spoken to my son and told him what he had found out in that mail. Is this a felony?
