Just a few days ago I had a PA call an ex-nurse of the
Dr's office (which I'm guessing is a friend of hers)and
proceeded to tell her that I was being turned over to
collection for a bill that had not been paid. This ex-nurse
just so happen to tell a co-worker of mine.
I know this is a heard thru the grape vine kind of thing
but was found to be true. I had never received a bill for
any kind of balance. Found that I did owe $65.00 from back
in 2004 which I paid in full today.
What I need to know here is what I should do about her
talking to others about my bussiness? And how good this
HIPPA Acknowledgement really is?
I also got the secretarty to give me a copy where I had
signed this privacy act from back in 2004. Please, tell me
what I should do!!!
