All of you with the Boston Scientific Spine Stimulator have I got a story for you. About a year ago Boston Sci. changed out there battery charges due to burns. Well about 31/2 weeks ago i charged with the replacement charger and the next day woke with pain where the stimulator was placed, Its on my left side under my rib cage and sticks out, which i have complained about since day one and am still in pain when someone touches me there, but that's another story. When I lifted my shirt my 8 yr. old daughter gasped. There was a quarter size burn so filled and taunt it hurt along with an odd V shaped blister as well. I went to my Pain Specialist Dr. who was so VERY concerned he placed me on 850 mg of Amoxicillian and sent me to see my primary phys. ASAP. My Primary physcian said they were burns at the positive and negative sites of the internal battery or leakage from the same area he was truly concerned and upped my antibiotic to 1000mg of Amox. I went back to the pain specialist Dr.s office to meet with him and a rep from boston scientific, the boston scientific rep said something definitely seems wrong let me get the Dr. This is where it gets really good he nonchalantly walks into the office with the rep there as a witness closes the door, leans against it, crosses his arms and legs and proceeds to say he spoke to Robert another Rep. at B.S. and there is no way this could happen, this is the same guy who was so concerned, remember. He countined to go on about how Myself and Husband were not giving him the full story. Well, of course my husband got pissed and said are you kidding are you trying to say she burnt herself, her primary phys. said its a positive and negative burn, his response was is this Dr. also an electrician. Needless to say my husband took me out of his office immeadiately while I of course was hysterical crying, thinking what do I do now. After we walked out my husband caught up with the Rep and she as well could not believe what had just happened. Well, now I have no Dr. Which BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SAID THEY WOULD LOCATE ME A NEW DR. FAMILIAR WITH THE MACHINE....WELL THAT STILL HASN'T HAPPENED AND AS FAR AS THE BURNS THEY ARE DEEP AND PAINFUL. PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME LET ME KNOW. I TRULY WOULD LIKE TO SUE ALL OF THEM THE DR. WHO PUT THE STIMULATOR IN, BUT WON'T LOOK AT IT BECAUSE HE DOESN'T TAKE MY INSURANCE ANYMORE. MY PAIN MNGT DR. WHO ALL OF A SUDDEN DOESN'T GIVE A DAMN AND WITHOUT A DOUBT BOSTON SCIENTIFIC FOR STILL LEAVING ME OUT IN THE WIND WITHOUT A DR. FAMILIAR WITH THEIR PRODUCT, WHILE I STILL CAN'T SLEEP AT NIGHT AND DEAL WITH PAIN ALL DAY... THERE IS NO WAY TO RECHARGE WITH DEEP OPEN WOUNDS. SHOULDN'T THEY BE HELPING ME AREN'T THEY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN PRODUCT. IF A LAWYER OR SOMEONE WHO KNOWS A GOOD LAWYER WHO WOULD TAKE MY CASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THEY CAN'T KEEP PUTTING US ALL OFF FOREVER.
