    You're certainly persistent in looking for an answer.
    Expect the lender to be just as persistent. They can check
    your credit as often as they want--up to the very moment
    before you sign the closing documents. And at closing,
    you'll probably also be asked to sign an affidavit stating
    that nothing has changed in your financial situation since
    the date of the application.
