Did you have your own attorney do a title search or rely on the lender's? If you had your attorney do it, call them and ask theses questions. If you didn't, you might need to consult with an attorney. I concur with Justice Mudge, if there are zoning or deed restrictions of record you are deemed responsible for finding this out. Unless you are the last house built to be in the subdivision then you might have an out.
