I am looking for a perfect match. I am a Total Eclipse
scopist that has excellent grammar, punctuation, spelling
and notereading skills, and with a large store of trivial
knowledge that helps me figure out obscure words in the
transcript. I was in court reporting school for two years.
I have worked on many kinds of transcripts and have
vocabulary for medical, asbestos, construction, accidents,
various experts, banking/insurance/financial, business lit,
and other kinds of transcripts. I do not have DSL--I can't
get it where I live--and I love to scope without audio and
noteread. I charge reasonable rates for reporters with
reasonable notes (doesn't have to be perfect, that's what a
scopist is for). I do have a transcriber for standard size
audiocassettes. I am also available for proofreading. I
prefer not to do criminal work or rape or sexual abuse and
harassment type cases.
