It's not about calling yourself a billionaire when you're not, and no, positive thinking will not automatically make you succeed. My point was, the converse is true. NOT believing in yourself will almost always make you fail. I'll give an analogy. Many people believe they can become a professional athlete. Few actually reach that lofty goal. But I bet there isn't one professional athlete who thought it would be impossible that he or she would make it. Even someone with the talent to suceed won't if she doesn't think she can. One must have faith in himself before others will. As a side note, $10,000.00 a month isn't a whole lot to bill. Since I mainly practice real estate law, I'll use real estate as an example. In my area, a typical real estate closing fee is about $1500.00. Five real estate closings plus five sales (at $500.00 each), which any real estate lawyer worth his salt can obtain, and there's your $10,000.00. Personally, I usually receive a few more than that, plus some condominium developments, leases, real estate LLCs, and evictions. Add to that a few bankruptcies and simple estate plans and my monthly gross typically is closer to $20,000.00, sometimes even more. It's not enough to live on a foreign beach, but it's a decent living. On 8/11/06, Mister K wrote: > This board is populated by many successful people.
