You can get the code on line for free, BUT DON'T DO IT, it
is almost always incomplete and will get you into trouble.
If you want to check it out for fun.

    http://www.fourmilab.ch/ustax/www/sections.html

BUT I WARN YOU, DON'T USE IT EXCEPT FOR EDU USE.

There are so many things that are not included here...the US
tax code in the largest statute ever written...more then
    97,000 pages.....

What you won't find at free code pages are: Many different
types of Regs, cases, case explanations, rev procs, private
letter rullings etc etc etc....and they can ALL completely
effect the law you think you will know when you go to one of
    these sites.

If you are serious about online research, look to Ria, for
online tax research but it is expensive.

Any more questions, give me a call,
