    My boyfriend has been diagnosed with PAN. He IS NOT diabetic. He
    DOES drink alot and feels better when he lays off the drinking. I
    did some reading on this condition and the prognosis isn't
    pretty. I haven't seen anything giving any causes. "SEEN", are
    you a doctor?
