That is a good question. The answer is simple: When their dog wakes me
up at 2 a.m., I tell them about it at 2 a.m. When it wakes me up at 1
a.m., I tell them about it at 1 a.m. I do this because I believe I have
the right to use my own house and be able to sleep. Also, I do it because
I want them to be able to do something about their barking dog at the
moment when it is keeping me awake, so I may go back to bed.
