Post: ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL
Posted by JEFFREY JACOBS on 11/29/05
I represent a passenger whose neck was broken when an Enterprise rental car hydroplaned on a wet road. The car spun out and rolled. On examination, it was determined that tires on the vehicle were worn into the "wear blocks". "Wear blocks" are rubber blocks that are inserted between the treads by tire manufacturers to mark when tires should be replaced. We believe that these "bald" tires caused the driver to loose control of the car. We have been told that deferred maintenance of vehicles is common at Enterprise and want to hear your experience.
