    1. YOU need to prove to the court that the money is rightly
    yours. If there is no agreement stating that he was to repay you,
    then you've got an uphill battle to prove your case.

    2. IF, and only IF, the court finds in your favor will he be
    required to repay you; all or part including interest.

    3. If he doesn't have the money, then you cannot collect. If he
    has funds and does not pay, he *may* be held in contempt.

    For that much money, you should consult with an attorney and
    explore your options. If you go it alone and you lose, that's it!
