I had a workcomp trial last week. At this trial the
insurance company's lawyer brought out a document I filled
out for my disibility leave. On this document there is a
question that asks if the accident occured on the job.
You mark the box if it did or mark the box that says no it
didn't happen at work. To our surprise the document is
marked, no it didn't happend at work. Then she says
there's is a witness that says I had previous back
problems. First of all why would I mark the no it didn't
happen at work and for the witness they have I've never
talked to her about the injury. Is this common for these
lawyers to pull stuff like this at a trial. Oh yeah, this
witness they have didn't show up for the trial so now it's
delayed again for 3 more months.
